Wig Care Australia is the sole Australian Distributor of Jon Renau Care Products, in particular the Hazmat items which can not be Air Freighted form the USA.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
- Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
- Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

- Set up your account for our store

Who on our team has access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
- Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
- Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfil orders, process refunds and support you.
Contact forms
When You submit a form on our website (Newsletter Subscription or Contact Us Form) , apart form the details you submit, such as Name, Email Address and Message Content we also collect your IP address and browser user agent string to, again this is done to help spam detection.
If you have provided information by signing up to our Newsletter then you may form time to time receive emails with information relating to product releases, special offers and discounts, information relating to trading hours or any other information about our operations that we may deem pertinent to our clients.

We have no affiliation with the websites that goole presents our remarketing ads on and have little control over this. However if our ads are presented to you on a site that you find offensive, please advise us of the websites URL address and we can request that the website is blocked from presenting our ads.

Visiting our website may allow some social media sites (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram etc.) to connect your visits with other Personal Information they hold If you are a member of that social media site. This generally occurs If you choose to “like” or “share” information from this website through those social media services. We recommend you review the privacy policy of those services.
Who we share your data with
Any information held specifically by Wig Care Australia, which you submitted to us during your interaction with our site, is not shared with any other parties. Your information will only be passed on to a third party if requested by you in order to assist your dealings with that third party e.g with your consent we may provide and invoice with your details to your Health Fund Provider or any state Government assistance provider that you nominate.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, have placed an order, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service to eliminate the incidence of spam comments an reviews.
Payments
Credit Card processing is done using a PCI DSS compliant provider and basic order information along with payment details are transmitted over a secure encrypted connection.
Pay Pal payments are processed on the Pay Pal website and the only information transmitted is the basic details of your order which are required to process your payment and order.
Information shared with a payment provider to process payments includes:
- Name
- Address
- Phone
- City/State/Zip
- Unique payment identifier
- Payment provider identifier

Protecting your data is of up most importance to us and we have many security measures in place to prevent any data breaches. We constantly review our security to ensure that the measures are up to date and effective in protection your data.
Sensitive and financial information is not stored on devices within Wig Care Australia’s premises. All companies which we contract to process sensitive financial information are all PCD DSS complaint with Australian standards in relation to data security.
What data breach procedures we have in place
In the event of a data breach we lock down any servers containing client information as soon as the breach is detected. Clients who may have been affected will be notified via the contact details provided on their account.
What third parties we receive data from
The only third parties that provide us data are the payment processing gateways. The information provided is only a confirmation of the status of your payment (Approved or Declined).
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
Other than any profiling done by Google Adwords and any Social Media Platforms that we use (e.g Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest etc..) and the automated spam detected service, we do not use your data with an any other automatic decision making or profiling systems.
